Creation of Central Technical Room

The building has no central heating system. Previously, individual stoves connected to chimneys were used in the rooms, each heated with wood or coal.

Basement below the basement

The slope under the cellar corridor allows constructing a basement below the existing cellar floor. This basement will house the central technical room.

Access to the technical room will be via the stairwell connected to installation shafts, meeting fire safety requirements. Additionally, there will be a sufficiently large window in the basement facing the courtyard at step height. This can serve as a secondary escape route or for smoke extraction.

Heat buffer tank

A 5.5 m³ heat buffer tank made of stainless steel will be installed on the lower basement level to optimize the heating system. The double-walled construction with insulation between layers minimizes heat loss. Previously, this tank was used in the chemical industry.

Installation shaft 1 starts in this room. On the wall adjacent to the former pit, an electrical cabinet with 10 meter slots will be installed. Connections to apartment distribution panels run directly from shaft 1. The rest of the building's electrical system will be located in a floor cabinet next to shaft 1. An additional floor cabinet or wall niche is planned as a backup.
